I doubt he scores 40 or 50, but I could see him scoring 30.

Still very respectable but why can't you see him getting more is it his size or puck handling ability or hockey sense whats your scouting report on young Master Boucher and why is Charles Sarault a free agent something about his game scouts don't like or is he at his ceiling right now

It's not a knock on Master Boucher, as you call him, it's just hard to confidently say anyone will be a 40 or 50 goal scorer.

As for Sarault, he's a good playmaker but I'm not sure how well his game will translate. He's an overeager and it's completely normal for a few guys to do what he's doing each year which is why it's not as impressive as one would think. To put up those point totals you have to be good, but a fair amount of guys have had those kind of numbers as overagers and failed to do much in the AHL or NHL.

That makes sense would you say Boucher is the one prospect we have right now that we should be most excited for and do you think Lou tries to get a pick in the top 10 of this years draft it would do alot for the future of the team but with how deep the draft is do you think the price to get into the top 10 will be sky high

Price to get in top-10 is always high. Will probably be higher this year. I honestly think this is the deepest draft in years by a pretty wide margin and that you could get a very, very good player even at 30.

I think as a fan of a team that isn't accustomed to making that big move you do wish for something more then a 30th pick even in a strong draft although 30th usually means you won the cup I would be ecstatic if we could get in the top ten and give up our first next year or get in the top 10 with keeping our first round and giving it up this year do you see us doing anything like that or do we just stay the course

I'd like to see the Devs wrest one of CBJ's first rounders away, in the case that they do real well this year in the finals and can sack their first round pick. Obviously that wouldn't happen until the draft and it might be the right move if NJ's scouts are looking at someone in particular.

NJ looks like they're struggling with Tavares this year. That guy reminds me of Joe Sakic.

What worries me about the Devils right now is how many shots they get per game. Sure, they've got a really good shot percentage going on right now. What happens when the shot percentage goes down, though?

Their record is better than how they're playing.

... Tallinder... enough said. :D

God I hope not unless we end up with another one somehow but im thinking even then might be alot better off to keep both if you can get another for this years draft and lose the one next year

Good move. I really hope they play Matteau instead of Barch.

I doubt they do it this year since they host the draft.

Proof why +/- is a worthless stat: Mark Fraser is +11 this year

No it's because he's out of New Jersey and feels like he should try now
